Recognition received in Malta, license secured in Cayman
Kane LPI has received recognition as a Fund Administrator in terms of Article 9A of the Investment Services Act Cap 370 of the Laws of Malta. This recognition means that the firm’s fund administration team, led by Matthew Charleson, is permitted to carry out a range of core and ancillary services from Malta on behalf of fund management clients. These services range from pricing the investment portfolio and fund accounting, through to payment of bills and compliance reporting.
The firm has also been granted a Companies Management License in the Cayman Islands pursuant to Section 5(2)(b) of the Companies Management Law (As revised) of the Cayman Islands. Under the licence, Kane LPI will be able to act as company formation agent, corporate secretary, directors and
officers, and as a registered office on behalf of fund clients.
Commenting on these developments, Charleson said: “Kane LPI is constantly looking at ways to extend the reach of our fund administration capabilities. By securing recognition in Malta and our license in Cayman we will significantly expand the opportunities for growth in both the US and Caribbean market as well as the European fund sector.”
