Welcome to Kane Chronicles
I would like to welcome you to the first issue of
Kane Chronicles - a periodical newsletter from
Kane which aims to provide you with news and
comment on recent developments both at Kane
and in the wider markets and territories in
which we operate.
As you may know, Kane is a leading provider
of specialist risk and insurance management
services. We are completely independent of any
broker and benefit from the fact that our
geographical reach and market expertise mean
we are also domicile neutral.
Since forming Kane two years ago we have
built bases in London, Bahrain and Dubai. We
are opening shortly in Guernsey and Qatar, and
will soon be announcing a partnership in Malta.
We have launched consulting and management
practices in Risk, Underwriting, Insurance,
Compliance and Healthcare, and have won
business in London, Oman, UAE, Bahrain and
Qatar.
Our team is currently 26 people and constantly
growing. Our experience and expertise in the
management and mitigation of risk creates value
for our Customers. Combining the world’s leading
practitioners in risk and insurance management
and our trainees, or ‘Kane Cadets’ – who we
firmly believe will become leaders in these fields
as they learn from our market mentors – ensures
an unrivalled level of commitment, enthusiasm
and innovation.
Working with the most capable, charming group
of people I have been involved with in my 30 year career is invigorating. We are committed to
fostering talent, and as such have established
personal development programmes for all team
members and our Cadets have just passed their
first industry exams. Our current experience and
skill make us a leader in our field and our Cadets
will inherit this success and take it further.
This is the most exciting thing I have ever done.
