Kane recognised by Judges at the Gulf Insurance Awards 2010
Kane, a leading provider of specialist risk and insurance management services, has today
been awarded the ‘2010 Product Innovation Award’ by Gulf Insurance Review. The award recognises the group’s efforts in developing a Shari’a compliant captive structure.
The award is given to those companies which have demonstrated the ability to respond
effectively to the ever developing needs of the commercial and personal insureds in the local markets. Speaking at the awards ceremony the judges commended Kane’s work, saying:
“Kane’s takaful captive vehicle is a world first and an innovative adaptation of the captive
concept for a Middle Eastern audience.”
The award was presented to Stephen May, Chief Executive Officer, Kane at the Gulf Insurance Awards, which took place at the Emirates Towers Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
